Personal Projects

In March 2020, when Covid-19 shut everything down, I was no longer able to be in school face to face, working on film projects. This is when I started editing videos for fun at home. One of my biggest inspirations came from watching my younger sister’s school teacher parade. The school reached out to its students, by having a car parade.   Many parents and students lined the streets with "We miss you” signs in their hands, while the teachers drove the streets of the local neighborhoods with their cars all decked out with signs and balloons, honking their horns and playing loud music. The teachers missed the students as much as the students missed their teachers.  The school family was torn apart but the teachers found a way to connect with the children.  When I saw how the teachers were connecting with the students, I wanted to capture those moments for my sisters. I used pictures that I took from that day and created a short music video that was shared with The South Creek PTSA.  They absolutely loved my creativity and how I was able to capture such a special moment in time.
